”Ranger” is infantry, it has 200 years long history. ago, to deal with the Indian raid, the British colonist had organized reconnaissance cavalry in America, they were regarded as the predecessor of Ranger. In the period of American Independence and the Civil War, the Ranger and regular army troops fought together, the Ranger had made impressive achievement. However, U.S. military forces did not name for Ranger officially in the past, the Ranger was mostly provisional success, after the war it was disbanded.
Currently, U.S. troop which is the predecessor of the 75th Ranger Regiment fought with Burma U.S. troops. In 1943, the Allies decided to build up ground troop, as the Chinese army’s vanguard in Burma fighting field. According to the “Round Table” program, the United States has set up about 2900′s special forces which is also known as detachment.
detachment received warfare training with two months, in March 1943,the task was to infiltrate the Japanese rear heart, cut off the enemy supply and communication lines.
